  • Professional Experience

  • I am an accomplished, highly creative artist of digital technologies, with extensive experience in sound engineering, theatre production, performance, video, lighting design, music technology, multimedia, and web design. I am able to coordinate and form strong relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels, and I am a committed team player with excellent organizational and multi-tasking attributes. I am accustomed to performing in deadline-driven environments, involving various freelance projects, corporate internship experience, and graduate school deadlines.

    I majored in Arts Technology as an undergraduate and graduate student at Illinois State University. The program has given me a unique set of skills that allows limitless possibilities in my ability to work creatively in all sorts of Arts Technology driven environments.

  • Sound Design Work

  • Sound is my passion. As a Graduate student I spent the majority of my time studying Sound in the Arts Technology Program. I have experience in setting up theatre sound systems, performing live music, mastering audio in multichannel environments, recording instruments and voice, and mastering and understanding the science of sound.

    Software I use most frequently:
    Ableton Live 8
    Max 5 (Max for Live)
    Reason
    Audition (My preferred mastering software)

    Most used MIDI controllers:
    M-Audio Radium 61
    Novation Launchpad

    5.1 audio should be played through Windows Media Player in a 5.1 surround sound environment.

  • The Arts Technology Program at Illinois State University integrates study across the arts with the study of digital technologies. Students take classes in Art, Music, and Theatre, as well as Arts Technology.

    Here you will find a large number of my accomplishments in the Arts Technology Program. The work rages from fundamental Fine Arts, including drawing, painting, and photography, to advanced artistic integrations in technology, including software design, MIDI mapping, and performance.
